MagMotor products are known for their cost effectiveness without sacrificing reliability Magnetic Levitation Motor systems: * Very newly perfected, magnetic levitation technology permits motor operation in which there is no contact between moving parts during operation. The moving components are suspended in space by magnetic fields. Friction and internal heat generation is essentially zero. Equally important is the fact that the armature no longer requires a mounting shaft, so components can be rotated within a chamber without penetrating the chamber to accommodate the shaft. The object you wish to turn (or its mounting platform) is built right into the armature. Speeds vary from less than 10 RPM to over 50,000 RPM. MagMotor provides the controls. |

The Micro Path Encoder series laser based linear encoders operate in reflection. They use point source diffraction from a movable scale and a hologram to sense linear displacement. This patented technique uses a minimum of optical elements, yet offers many beneficial performance features. These encoders provide high resolution at a low cost. There are several configurations of read heads, scales, and signal processing electronics. |
